The reasons we would disclose it is to conform to the law and/or to defend any licensing rights or intellectual property associated with Nan S. Russell. (a.k.a. This policy applies to all websites owned and operated by MountainWorks Communications. It covers information collected online by these sites but does not include information that may be collected offline or at in-person events. We are an opt-in company, meaning we will not send you communications, newsletters, or updates unless you have requested that we provide that service to you, or unless you have purchased items from us and have been added to our list at the time of purchase, with your approval, or have voluntarily provided that information to us through various surveys, research participation, in-person events, or other offerings.


We will use your email address provided by you at point of purchase for your order confirmation, your order update, and returns confirmation. By providing your email to us, you are agreeing that we can send you occasional emails alerting you to updates, releases, new product offerings, or other information or promotional emails we deem appropriate to your interests.

No transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is fully secure. While we use reasonable efforts to protect your personal information from risks presented by unauthorized access or acquisition, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information. 


Collected Personal Information


Personal information we collect may include contact details, such as your first and last name, email address, mailing address, and phone number as well as information related to the Services or Work you have requested or engaged with us. These include some, or all, of the following:

 

  • Contact details, such as your first and last name and email address. When you sign up for one of our communications products or vehicles such as a column, newsletter, or the like, your name and email address may be requested. It is possible, depending on the product offering, that additional information will be requested, such as mailing address or phone number. Requested information is housed on secure servers by our list management or payment processor providers.

  •  Occasional communications, such as those sent to subscribed individuals on our update lists about topics that we think you may find relevant. At any point, you may unsubscribe to any or all such contact from us via the contact form on the website, or a link at the bottom of every email. 

  • Order information and history, such as information about communications and products, i.e., the Services and Work you use or have used from us. All payment processing services connected with your use of our Services or Work are provided by third-party payment processors. Neither MountainWorks Communications, nor any of its entities, access, or store information related to credit cards, digital wallet, banking information, or other sensitive financial information.

  • Information provided, such as that associated with requests or inquiries, including for mentoring, speaking, writing, consulting, or assistance, and/or other interaction data exchanged or observed through your use of our Services, Work, and/or social media, including content or feedback you provide when you contact us. 

  • Online activity information, such as the website you visited before browsing to our website(s), pages, or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times, and duration of access.
