I read Isabel Wilkerson’s book, Caste: The Origin of Our Discontents, shortly after it came out in 2020. This month, I read it again.
I don’t often read books twice, but there was so much about its message, research, and stories that stayed with me. And so much I missed.
It's a book that changed my perception and understanding of my little world, and the larger one that intersects it. Some have called it a “brilliant book.” I couldn’t agree more.
About the book and author - Isabel Wilkerson.
