Having spent much of my corporate career focused on how to build trust in the workplace and develop self-trust, even writing a book on the topic, Trust, Inc., and named a 100 Top Thought Leader by Trust Across America at the time, I was drawn to Dr. Shade Zahrai’s book, Big Trust: Rewire Self-Doubt, Find Your Confidence, and Fuel Success.
I listened to the audio version, narrated by the author, which I enjoyed.
I’m a strong believer that self-trust matters not only at work, but in life. Yet many of us are challenged with self-doubts that impede our progress or direct our life choices. So, I was interested in understanding and engaging with the latest research and approaches on the topic. I wasn’t disappointed.
This book offers real-world ways to reduce one’s self-doubt by building self-trust using four pillars: autonomy, agency, autonomy, and adaptability. It's brimming with tools, suggestions, and information for those interested in self-development and embracing their potential. If that’s you, I recommend you read Dr. Zahrai's book, Big Trust.
