In 2002, Nan left the corporate world to pursue a life-dream to work and write from the mountains of northwestern Montana. Today she is a successful author, columnist, consultant, coach and speaker, completing her new book, Hitting Your Stride: Your Work, Your Way (Capital Books, January 2008).
Her syndicated career insights column, Winning at Working appears in over eighty publications, and her life-reflections column, In the Scheme of Thingsis published in six states and Canada, and in several anthologies including Chicken Soup for the Shopper's Soul, Cup of Comfort for Weddings, Classic Christmas and Letters to My Teacher.
Nan Russell is President of MountainWorks Communications LLC, a company she founded in 2006 to support her passion for helping organizations build winning work cultures, and helping people bring the best of who they are to the world, realize their dreams and live their life’s potential.
